This will b epart of my Christmas posts as promised. Last Wednesday I went to Cocoa Tanning for a little Christmas market. As I found out about it on Facebook events I was a little hesitant at first. Hmm… Sounds small and is probably not for me. Thank god I went anyway and it will definitely not be my last visit there.
These bath salts are made here in Vancouver. While the holistic blend contains Epsom Salts, Himalayan Salts and Rose Petals, the essential oils Neroli and Bergamot put the final touch to it. The bath salts make a beautiful relaxing gift for everyone. With each bag being unique and fresh it is really something special that is good to use for two weeks upon receiving. I purchased one myself and I’m super pumped to use them soon.
For the art part, they had Sam James Art. My mind was blown by the yoga mats she designs. What do you want me to say: I’m amazed and found a new favorite artist! As I walked around I started chatting with her and she is an incredible person. As you maybe know, I do yoga regularly as well – unfortunately can’t afford 108$ for a yoga mat though. Don’t get me wrong, it’s totally justified, just not for me right now.
Internationally speaking, Rodika Goreeas fashion is just as good as the famous brands. Contrasts, fusion of Canadian Urban Style and European Chic, balance between business and style, all these attributes give her pieces a fresh and unique style. Everyone can find something that they like and what they are looking for. I would say the prices are in a medium range. For a small, local and eco friendly business clothes between 90$ and 279$ (for an amazing dress) are really not too expensive.
Last but not least: The host Cocoa Tanning. There is a shopin Gastown and in Yaletown, open from 9 am – 10pm on weekdays and 11am – 7pm at the weekend. I’m very excited to go for my complimentary tan that I got with my purchase!
